The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip8 is Samsung’s latest compact foldable smartphone. It opens into a full 6.9-inch display and folds down into a pocket-sized square that slips easily into a jeans pocket or small bag. It’s the thinnest and lightest Galaxy Z Flip yet, at just 6.1mm unfolded and 180g, while keeping the same large 4,300mAh battery as before thanks to a new silicon-carbon battery. With a faster 2nm processor, a redesigned FlexWindow cover screen and Galaxy AI built in, it combines standout design with flagship performance.
Main display: a 6.9-inch FHD+ (2520×1080) foldable Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with an adaptive 1–120Hz refresh rate, which scrolls smoothly and drops the refresh rate when it can to save battery. HDR10+ support and up to 2600 nits peak brightness make videos vivid and the screen easy to read outdoors. FlexWindow cover screen: a 4.1-inch Super AMOLED cover screen (948×1048, up to 120Hz, 2600 nits) lets you check notifications, reply to messages, control music, view widgets and Now Brief cards, use quick settings and run selected apps without opening the phone. Simple AI requests also work with the phone closed.
