The JBL PartyBox Ultimate 2 is JBL’s flagship party speaker and the most powerful model in the PartyBox range. It is built for large living rooms, gardens, rooftops, poolside events and any party where the sound has to fill the whole space. Its 1500W output is about 36% more than the original PartyBox Ultimate (1100W) and almost double the PartyBox 720 (800W). It combines club-level volume with Wi-Fi streaming, a built-in touchscreen and a beat-synced light show in one speaker.
Sound: 1500W of JBL Original Pro Sound from a three-way driver system: 2× 10-inch woofers for deep, physical bass, 2× 5-inch mid-range drivers for clear vocals and instruments, and 2× PEN tweeters with acoustic horns that project crisp highs across the room. Dual bass ports add extra low-end depth. AI Sound Boost: analyses the music in real time and adjusts the speaker’s output as the volume changes, so the bass stays tight and the sound stays clean and free of distortion from background levels up to full party volume.
Touchscreen control: This is the first PartyBox with a touchscreen built into the top panel. The volume knob doubles as the screen, so you can see track information, skip songs and control the music and light show directly from the speaker without picking up your phone. All functions can also be controlled through the JBL app. Light show: The built-in lighting syncs to the beat of the music with ripple-wave effects across the front, multi-layer lighting and light patterns projected onto the floor around the speaker. Lighting effects can be customised in the app.
Wireless connectivity: Wi-Fi 6 for stable, high-quality streaming over your home network. Bluetooth 6.0 with LE Audio gives fast, reliable pairing. Auracast lets you link several compatible JBL speakers for a bigger sound. Apple AirPlay and Google Cast stream directly from iPhone, Android, tablets and computers. Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz Connect and Roon Ready support high-quality music services. Wired inputs: An optical input connects your TV for films, sports and gaming. An XLR line-in connects DJ mixers and professional audio equipment. A USB-C port supports lossless audio playback.
Karaoke: EasySing AI Vocal Removal strips the vocals out of any song in real time, turning your playlist into karaoke tracks instantly with no special karaoke versions needed. Extra built-in party games keep guests entertained. Durability: The IPX4 splash-proof rating protects against spilled drinks and light rain for terrace, garden and poolside use. It is not designed to be submerged. Portability: About 105 cm tall and weighing 54.4 kg, it moves on larger, sturdier wheels with a carry handle for rolling between rooms or outdoors.
Power: ⚠️ AC mains power only. There is no built-in battery, so the speaker must be plugged into a wall socket to operate. Colour: Black. 2-year warranty.
