The Anker Nano Travel Adapter (A9215) is Anker’s 2025/2026 flagship international travel adapter — a single compact unit that combines an international plug adapter for over 200 countries with a five-port charging hub (one AC outlet, two USB-C ports and two USB-A ports), designed to replace the combination of separate country adapters and multi-port chargers that most travellers carry. The Black colourway is one of two available options alongside Aurora White.
Five output ports allow up to five devices to charge or operate simultaneously: the AC outlet passes through mains power for devices with their own power adapters (a laptop charger, a hair dryer, a kettle — whatever the destination country’s outlet standard delivers), the USB-C1 port delivers up to 20W for fast charging of phones and tablets (Apple PD 20W for iPhone: charges an iPhone 16 to 50% in approximately 26–28 minutes), the USB-C2 port delivers up to 15W for smaller devices and accessories, and the two USB-A ports each deliver up to 12W at 5V/2.4A for accessories, earbuds, smaller power banks and older devices. Multi-port charging is supported simultaneously: when two or more USB ports are in use concurrently the total USB output is shared at a 15W maximum across all USB ports combined — for high-power single-device charging the USB-C1 port is best used alone to maintain the full 20W. The AC port remains independent and operates at full mains current (6A max, 750W at 125V or 1380W at 230V) regardless of USB port usage.
Four plug types cover the major outlet standards used worldwide: Type A (USA, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Central America — two flat parallel pins, rotatable), Type G (United Kingdom, Ireland, Hong Kong, parts of the Middle East — three large rectangular pins in a triangular arrangement), Type C (Continental Europe, most of Africa, Asia and South America — two round pins, flip-out latch), and Type I (Australia, New Zealand, Argentina — three angled flat pins). These four types collectively provide compatibility in 200+ countries and regions. Note: the AC port specifically supports Type A plugs and Type C plugs with 4.0mm round contacts — Type E and Type F plugs are not supported via the AC outlet (European Schuko CEE 7/4 and French Type E plugs will not fit the AC port, even though the Type C input plug set covers most European countries at the adapter input level).
The Push-Lock sliding mechanism governs how each set of pins deploys and retracts: the US/Australia plug uses rotatable and retractable pins via dedicated sliders; the UK plug slides out separately; the EU plug uses a flip-out latch. Anker states the mechanism has been tested to over 10,000 actuation cycles for durability. The 2-pin to 2-pin connection design of the AC output — rather than a 3-pin grounded design — provides a safety-appropriate interface that reduces electric shock risk when deploying in unfamiliar outlet types. Smart Temperature Control monitors internal temperature during operation and adjusts output accordingly to protect connected devices and the adapter itself from overheating.
This adapter is not a voltage converter. It passes through the local mains voltage at the destination country — 100–125V in Japan and North America, 220–240V in Europe, the UK, Australia and most of the world. Any device plugged into the AC outlet must be rated for the local voltage at the destination. Modern devices with switching power adapters (laptops, phone chargers, camera chargers) are typically dual voltage (100–240V rated) and are safe worldwide. Older or single-voltage devices (some hair dryers, electric shavers, small appliances) are not compatible without a separate voltage converter. The USB ports output regulated USB power (5V/9V/12V) regardless of input voltage and are universally safe for all USB-charged devices. Input: 100–240V, 50/60Hz, 6A max. Dimensions: compact, 43% smaller than traditional travel adapters by volume. Available in Black and Aurora White. 18-month warranty.
