The Smeg PBF01RDEU is the 50’s Style personal blender in Red — a compact single-serve blending system designed for smoothies, shakes and blended drinks that are consumed directly from the blending bottle, eliminating the jug, the pouring step and the second container entirely. The personal blender format inverts the conventional countertop blender design: instead of blending into a jug and then pouring into a cup, the user blends directly in the 600ml drinking bottle — the bottle screws onto the blade assembly at the base of the motor unit, blending happens in the bottle, and then the bottle is unscrewed, the blade assembly replaced with the travel spout cap and silicone-sealed lid, and the bottle goes straight into the bag. The stainless steel motor body with polished chrome collar and base is the 50’s Style aesthetic applied at the smallest scale in the Smeg SDA range — the same design language as the full-size blender, stand mixer and espresso machine reduced to a form factor that sits comfortably on a corner of the counter or inside a kitchen cupboard.

The 300W motor operates at two speeds — 20,000 RPM (low) and 22,000 RPM (high) — controlled via a knob on the motor body. The two-speed range covers the full span of personal blending requirements: lower speed for soft fruits, yogurt and pre-soaked ingredients where the blade rotation is the primary processing force; higher speed for leafy vegetables, fibrous fruits, ice and frozen ingredients where the additional centrifugal force is needed to break cell walls and achieve a smooth consistency. The double stainless steel blade is the standard twin-blade configuration used in personal blender systems — two blades at different heights on the blade assembly create a dual processing zone inside the bottle, circulating ingredients up from the base into the upper blade level for more even blending than a single blade height achieves. The thermal motor protection cuts power automatically if the motor temperature rises beyond safe limits during extended blending sessions — the safety system that prevents motor damage from overloading with dense ingredients. The safety motor block prevents the motor from running unless the bottle is correctly locked into position — the interlock mechanism that prevents accidental activation with no bottle attached.

Each unit includes two 600ml Tritan Renew™ Bottle-To-Go — allowing two servings to be prepared simultaneously, or a clean second bottle to be ready while the first is in use or being washed. Tritan Renew™ is a BPA-free copolyester with 50% certified recycled content (ISCC mass balance certification) — high optical clarity, impact resistance, odour and flavour absorption resistance, dishwasher safe for both the bottle and the cap. Each bottle includes both a spout cap (for drinking on the go without removing the lid) and a silicone-sealed storage lid (for refrigerator storage).
