The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ is the 13.1-inch model in Samsung’s 2025 Fan Edition tablet lineup — the larger of the two S10 FE tablets (the other being the 10.9-inch S10 FE), and the first Samsung FE tablet to reach the 13-inch class. The “Fan Edition” positioning means it brings the design language, S Pen inclusion, IP68 water resistance and Galaxy AI feature set of Samsung’s mainline Galaxy Tab S series to a lower price point, using the Exynos 1580 chipset and an IPS LCD panel rather than the AMOLED and Snapdragon/Dimensity silicon of the premium S10 lineup. The 12GB/256GB Gray Wi-Fi variant (SM-X620) is the maximum storage configuration.

The Samsung Exynos 1580 (4nm Samsung, octa-core: 1×2.9GHz + 4×2.6GHz + 3×1.9GHz Cortex-A78/A55 hybrid, Xclipse 540 GPU) is the same chip used in the Galaxy A56 5G smartphone, adapted here for tablet thermal envelope. It handles everyday productivity, streaming, note-taking, drawing, split-screen multitasking and moderate gaming comfortably, with the 12GB LPDDR4X RAM of this variant providing ample headroom for the Galaxy AI features and multitasking workflows that are the tablet’s core use cases. The dedicated microSDXC slot (separate from the SIM tray — this is the Wi-Fi model with no SIM) allows storage expansion beyond the 256GB internal UFS capacity.

The 13.1-inch IPS LCD display (2880×1800 WQXGA+, 16:10 aspect ratio, 259 PPI, 90Hz) is the defining specification of the FE Plus over the standard FE — the extra screen real estate meaningfully changes the productivity experience for split-screen multitasking, document editing, S Pen note-taking and video content. The 16:10 aspect ratio is tablet-optimised for document work and web browsing, providing more vertical content than the 16:9 found in some competing tablets. At 90Hz the display is noticeably smoother than 60Hz tablet displays for scrolling and S Pen inking response. Brightness is 600 nits typical; Vision Booster activates High Brightness Mode at 800 nits for outdoor legibility. SGS Low Blue Light certified.

The S Pen is included in the box — a full-size stylus that attaches magnetically to the side of the tablet for storage and transport. The S Pen enables Samsung Notes handwriting (with Intelligent Notes AI for handwriting-to-text conversion and summarisation), drawing and illustration apps, PDF annotation, and precision selection in Samsung’s Galaxy AI feature set. The S Pen is not Bluetooth-enabled on the FE line — it does not have air gesture functionality — but it is a precise capacitive stylus fully integrated with Samsung’s software ecosystem.

Galaxy AI features available on the S10 FE+ include: Circle to Search with Google (draw a circle around anything on screen to search Google for it), Note Assist (AI summarisation and formatting of handwritten and typed notes in Samsung Notes), Transcript Assist (AI transcription and summarisation of voice recordings), Object Eraser (remove unwanted objects from photos), Generative Edit (AI image editing to move, resize and fill objects), Live Translate (real-time call translation), Chat Assist (tone adjustment and translation for messages), Interpreter (face-to-face translation for conversations) and AI hot key (quick access to Galaxy AI features from anywhere).

DeX mode connects the tablet to an external monitor via USB-C or wirelessly (with a compatible DeX-enabled TV or monitor) and presents a desktop-like computing environment — running apps in resizable windows, with keyboard and mouse support, transforming the tablet into a productivity workstation.

The 13MP f/2.0 rear camera shoots 4K@30fps and 1080p video. The 12MP f/2.4 ultrawide front camera handles video calls and selfies at 1080p. AKG-tuned stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos provide spatial audio for media consumption — the dual speakers are on opposite sides of the tablet in landscape orientation.
