The Dyson V8 Absolute (SV25) in Silver/Yellow is Dyson's most versatile V8 cordless vacuum — engineered for whole-home cleaning across all floor types with 115 Air Watts of fade-free suction from the Dyson Digital Motor V8, 15-cyclone Root Cyclone separation system, 99.99% whole-machine HEPA filtration, up to 40 minutes of run time and two complete cleaner heads for both carpeted surfaces and hard floors in a lightweight cordless format that converts from full-size stick vacuum to handheld in one motion. The Dyson Digital Motor V8 is the engineering foundation of the V8 Absolute's performance advantage — the motor spins at up to 110,000 RPM through the digital pulse switching of neodymium magnet polarity, five times faster than a Formula One car engine, generating the 115 Air Watts of suction that Dyson classifies as its most powerful V8 output. Unlike conventional electric motors that lose suction power as the filter loads with debris and the motor slows under the increased resistance, the Dyson Digital Motor V8's digital control maintains consistent revolutions per minute regardless of filter load — delivering the same 115 Air Watts of suction at the start of the cleaning session as at the end, across the entire 40-minute battery run time. The Root Cyclone separation system with 15 cyclones captures and separates dust and debris from the airflow through centrifugal force before the airstream reaches the filter — reducing the filter loading rate and maintaining the no-loss-of-suction performance that Dyson's cyclone architecture is engineered to deliver throughout the cleaning session rather than only at the start.

The V8 Absolute includes two complete cleaner heads that cover the full range of household floor surfaces — the Digital Motorbar cleaner head with Polycarbonate hair removal vanes is engineered for carpets and multi-surface use, with 43 de-tangling vanes that automatically lift and spiral wrapped hair from the brush bar into the bin as the head moves across the surface, preventing the hair-tangle blockage that conventional brush bars develop within minutes of use on homes with pets or long hair. The Fluffy cleaner head is engineered specifically for hard floor surfaces — sealed wood, tile, vinyl and stone — with soft woven nylon and anti-static carbon fibre that captures fine dust particles on the hard floor surface without scattering them and without generating the static that causes dust to cling to the floor rather than being drawn into the bin. The fully-sealed whole-machine HEPA filtration captures 99.99% of microscopic particles down to 0.3 microns in Powerful mode — retaining the allergens, fine dust, pollen, pet dander and bacteria that pass through lesser filtration systems and are expelled back into the room air as exhaust from the conventional vacuum, making the V8 Absolute the appropriate choice for households with asthma, allergy sufferers or pets. The 0.54-litre bin empties with the hygienic no-touch ejection mechanism that drives out dirt and dust in a single downward action without requiring the user to touch the contents — keeping hands clean during maintenance and making the V8 Absolute suitable for use by users who prefer to avoid contact with collected debris. The six-cell lithium-ion battery provides up to 40 minutes of run time in Powerful mode with non-motorised tools, or up to 25 minutes with the motorised cleaner heads running — the run time adjustable between the two power modes based on the surface and task at hand. The vacuum transforms from full-size stick format to compact handheld configuration by detaching the wand, making the powerful motor unit available for cleaning car interiors, upholstery, stairs, mattresses and other above-floor surfaces. The included wall-mounted docking station stores the vacuum vertically and recharges it simultaneously — keeping the V8 Absolute charged and ready at its storage location. 2-year warranty.
